Transforming Communities Through Culture
Culture Restoration Project, Inc. (CRP) began serving its community in 2013 by providing cultural education and experiences to the Wilmington, Delaware community. In the early years, CRP focused on engaging adults. However, after assessing community needs, which included addressing epidemic levels of violent activities and low school performance in high-risk Wilmington communities, CRP transitioned to developing curriculum guides, enrichment programs, and activities for school-age children.
In 2016, CRP became a 501c3 organization. Since then, they have developed over five curriculum-based youth enrichment programs and coordinated numerous arts and culture events in the City of Wilmington. CRP has partnered with numerous agencies throughout Delaware, providing communities with culturally appropriate and affirming engagement.
