Executive Director
AliShah Watson
AliShah Watson founded Culture Restoration Project, Inc. in 2016 and has served as Executive Director since. With a background in Africana Studies, she has shaped CRP’s mission and curriculum for community outreach and youth programs. AliShah is an educator and advocate for Black and Brown communities.

Richard "Raw" Watson
Richard Watson is a national recording artist and Hip-Hop Scholar using Hip-Hopology to promote character development. He has released ten albums and a short film, lectured at various universities nationwide. As a grassroots activist and youth advocate, he uses his art for community transformation.

Tywanda Cuffy
Tywanda Cuffy serves as Director of External Relations, Communications and Development Initiatives for the University of Delaware Library, Museums and Press. A Newark, Delaware resident, she brings extensive experience in communications, marketing, public relations, fundraising, and donor relations from her current role and previous roles with United Way of Delaware and Wilmington Trust. Tywanda is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Sigma Zeta Omega Chapter, and a devoted wife and mother of two.

Dr. Hanifa Shabazz
Dr. Hanifa Shabazz DHL, owner of HGNS Consulting LLC, leads a team of accomplished
professionals delivering integrated business, real estate, construction, workforce, and
organizational development solutions.
Dr. Shabazz served as the Southbridge Community Development Corporation’s Executive
Director and she has three decades of entrepreneurial and civic leadership that includes - The DRUMBEAT Newspaper, Hanifa’s Kitchen, Haneef’s Bookstore and Mosi Art
Gallery, and The African Festival and Parade.
Dr. Shabazz was the first woman President of Wilmington City Council, following three terms
representing the city’s most diverse district. On the national stage, she served as President of the National Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials, the largest constituency group within the
National League of Cities.

Rep. Nnamdi Chukwuocha
The Honorable Nnamdi Chukwuocha is a member of the Delaware House of Representatives, representing District 1. He is a community-based, Licensed Master Social Worker who sits on an array of boards and commissions including the Redding Consortium for Educational Equity. Nnamdi has over 30 years’ experience in the nonprofit sector focusing on housing, youth and community development. He is one of the Twin Poets, state of Delaware Poets Laureate, and has been recognized as an outstanding Delaware State University Alumni.

Aliyah Graham
Raised in Wilmington, Delaware, Aliyah Graham has dedicated much of her life to uplifting the local community through long-standing involvement with numerous community organizations and nonprofit initiatives across the city. With deep roots in Wilmington and a strong belief in collective progress, Aliyah Graham has volunteered countless hours to programs (Christina Cultural Arts center , FAME inc , CRP Inc. ) focused on empowerment, education, and opportunity. Her ongoing mission is to contribute time, experience, and resources toward advancing CRP Inc.’s vision of a community that grows, thrives, and achieves true self-sufficiency.

Dr. Adriana Bohm
Dr. Adriana Leela Bohm is a tenured Sociology Professor at Delaware County Community College, where she focuses on social stratification and dismantling inequity. A Wilmington native and University of Delaware graduate, she earned her PhD in Sociology from Temple University. Dr. Bohm served ten years on the Red Clay School Board, leading equity initiatives. She currently serves on several boards including Culture Restoration Project, ACLU-Delaware, and the Delaware Law Related Education Center. A Delta Sigma Theta member, she lives in Wilmington with her family.
